Wer möchte kann diesen Protestbrief unterschreiben, damit er von möglichst vielen Menschen, die ihre Stimme für Tiere erheben, getragen wird. Am Freitag wird das Euthanasie-Gesetz im Verfassunggericht in Rumänien noch einmal diskutiert. Das ist eine letzte kleine Chance... Protest gegen das Hundemassaker in Rumänien, Krieg gegen Hunde
Hiermit protestiere ich, auch im Namen vieler Tierschützer und Menschen international, gegen das inhumane, grausame und brutale Massentöten der Straßenhunde in Rumänien. Ich fordere Sie auf dieses blutige und blindwütige Abschlachten von unschuldigen Straßenhunden sofort zu beenden. Sie stürzen Ihr Land in ein blutiges Massaker von unfassbarem Ausmaß, in dem Sie tausende Hunde auf der Straße erschießen, vergiften, erschlagen und lebend anzünden! Das sorgt überall im Ausland für großes Entsetzen und Proteste. Hunderttausende Menschen aus der ganzen Welt haben Petitionen und Proteste gegen das Hundemassaker in Ihrem Land unterschrieben, rumänische Botschaften werden bestreikt und es finden zahlreiche Demonstrationen statt.
Rumänien zeigt damit wieder einmal, dass es kein zivilisiertes Land ist und nicht die moralische Reife besitzt ein Mitglied der EU zu sein. Bei allem Respekt, aber Hunde zu erschlagen heißt, sich wie ungebildete Menschen aus der Steinzeit zu benehmen, die nicht erwachsen genug sind die Verantwortung für eigenes Handeln zu übernehmen. Es ist nicht die Schuld der Straßenhunde, dass sie auf der Straße ein so entbehrungsreiches Leben fristen müssen. Es ist die Schuld der Menschen, die die Tiere auf die Straße geworfen haben, die sie nicht kastriert und die sich nicht um sie gekümmert haben. Anstatt Verantwortung für diese Tiere zu übernehmen und die Population der Tiere auf humane und zivilisierte Weise durch konsequente Kastration zu dezimieren und sie zu adoptieren, scheint für Sie nur der kaltblütige Mord die Lösung zu sein. In Ihrem Land wurden zwischen 2004 und 2009 unglaubliche 10 Millionen Straßenhunde umgebracht! Das ist ein "Völkermord" an Hunden wie es ihn nie zuvor in der Welt an Tieren gegeben hat. Sie haben fast so viele Hunde getötet wie die gesamte Einwohnerzahl Rumäniens!
Sie haben damit das größte Verbrechen an Hunden und Katzen in der Geschichte begangen.

Und nun beginnen Sie erneut mit diesem Blutrausch. Es ist keine Lösung die Straßenhunde brutal zu ermorden, Sie haben schon so viele getötet und trotzdem sind die Straßen noch voll. Daraus sollten Sie lernen und begreifen, dass man die Situation der Straßentiere nur mit Vernunft und humanen, effektiven Mittel lösen kann. Es gibt so viele NGO´s und rumänische Tierschützer, die in den letzten Jahren hervorragende Arbeit geleistet haben und gezeigt haben, wie man durch neuter & release-Maßnahmen und Fürsorge mit den Tieren umgeht. Dass es im Jahr 2013 wieder ein „Euthanasiegesetz“ in Europa geben soll, macht mich fassungslos. Das alles geschieht auch vor den Augen von Kindern und Jugendlichen. Was für Menschen sollen aus ihnen werden, wenn sie schon als Kinder ansehen müssen, wie ohne jedes Gefühl und Moral Tiere einfach angezündet und erschlagen werden. Diese Kinder werden ohne jede Empathie aufwachsen und aus ihnen werden gefühlskalte Erwachsene, die weder Tiere noch Menschen wertschätzen und entsprechend behandeln. Wie brutal Menschen mit einander umgehen, das kann man an vielen Stellen in Rumänien sehen. Sie entscheiden, wie Ihre Gesellschaft von morgen aussehen soll und welches Image Ihr Land haben wird. Heute nennt man Rumänien:“das Land des Todes und der Hundemörder“ und „ Dog Auschwitz“. Hören Sie endlich auf das Steuergeld Ihrer Bürger und das Steuergeld der EU-Bürger zum feigen Mord an Straßentieren zu missbrauchen. Einige Personen haben in Rumänien ein perfides Geschäftsmodel entwickelt, mit dem Dog hunter, Gemeinden und Bürgermeister Millionen Euro mit dem Mord an Straßentieren verdienen. Beenden Sie diesen Steuermissbrauch und verwenden Sie die Steuern Ihrer Bürger und die EU-Gelder besser für soziale Maßnahmen, Krankenpflege und die Bildung Ihrer Kinder. Damit schaffen Sie eine zivilisierte Gesellschaft und ein Land, das in der Welt respektiert wird und in dem auch Menschen freundlich mit einander umgehen.

Die EU hat sicher nicht den Friedensnobelpreis verliehen bekommen, damit Sie einen Krieg gegen unschuldige Tiere führen.

Protest against dog massacre in Romania, war against dogs.

Dear judges, dear president Băsescu,

I hereby protest also on behalf of many animal rights activists and people internationally, against the inhumane, cruel and brutal mass killing of stray dogs in Romania.
I urge you to stop this bloody and enraged slaughter of innocent stray dogs. You rush your country into a bloody massacre of incomprehensible extent to which you shoot thousands of dogs on the street, poison, kill and burn them alive! This provides anywhere abroad for great horror and international protests. Hundred thousands of people from foreign countries have signed protest petitions, Romanian embassies are under boycott and there are many demonstrations in countries all over against the mass murder of stray dogs in your country.
Romania shows, once again, that it is no civilized country and that it has no moral maturity to be a member of the EU. With all respect, but slaying dogs means acting like uneducated people from the Stone Age, which are not adult enough to take responsibility for their own actions. It is not the fault of the stray dogs that they need to lead a suffering life on the street. It is the fault of the people who have thrown them on the street, who have not neutered them and who did not care about them. Instead of taking responsibility for these animals and to decimate the population of the animals in a humane and effective manner with consistent castration and to adopt them, you punish them twice with cold-blooded murder. Between 2004 and 2009 there have been killed an incredible number of 10 million stray dogs in Romania! That is a "genocide" of dogs as it has never happened in the world ever before. You have killed almost as many dogs as the entire population of Romania!
You have thereby committed the greatest crime in dogs and cats in history.
And now you start again with this blood lust. It is no solution to brutally murder the stray dogs.
You have already killed so many and yet the streets are still full. From this you should learn and understand that we can resolve the situation of stray animals only with reason and humane, civilized measures. There are so many NGO`s and great Romanian animal rights activists, who have done excellent work over the last few years and have shown how to deal with neuter & release measures and how to care for the animals. That in the year 2013 once again there is a "euthanasia law" in Europe makes me and many people in the world shocking speechless.
This all happens before the eyes of children and teenager. What kind of people should become of them if they already have to watch as children how dogs are killed and burned alive without any feeling and morality? These children will grow up without any empathy and will develop to cold and unfeeling adults who appreciate neither animals nor people and treat them accordingly. How brutal people deal with each other, can be seen in many places in Romania. You decide how your society will look tomorrow and what image your country will have. Today, Romania is called:”the land of death and the dog killers "and "Dog Auschwitz." Finally you have to stop to abuse on the tax money of your citizens and the tax money of European citizens to cowardly murder of stray animals. Some people in Romania have developed a perfidious business model were the dog hunter`s, municipalities and mayors earning millions of Euro with the murder of stray animals. Stop this abuse of tax money and use the tax money of your citizens and of the EU funds for better social policies, health care and the education of your children. In order to create a civilized society and a country that is respected in the world and also to create a society in which people be friendly with each other. The EU has certainly not been awarded with the “Nobel Peace Prize”, so that you are waging a war against innocent stray dogs and cats.

Protest împotriva masacrării câinilor fără stăpân în România, războiul împotriva câinilor

Stimați Judecători ai Curţii Constituţionale,

Stimate Domnule Președinte Traian BĂSESCU,

Prin prezenta protestez în numele a multor activiști pentru drepturile animalelor, dar și a numeroase persoane din străinătate, împotriva uciderii inumane, crude și brutale a câinilor fără stăpân în România.

Vă rog să stopați acest măcel sângeros și furios asupra câinilor maidanezi. V-ați împins țara către un masacru sângeros, de o dimensiune greu de înțeles, în care mii de câini fără stăpân au fost împușcați, otrăviți, omorâți sau arși de vii! Acesta este motiv de consternare și proteste internaționale. Sute de mii de oameni din alte țări au semnat petiții de protest, ambasadele Romîniei sunt boicotate și au loc demonstrații în țări din toată lumea împotriva uciderii în masă a câinilor fără stăpân din țara dumneavoastră.

România dovedește încă o dată că nu este o țară civilizată și că nu are maturitatea morală necesară pentru a fi membru al Uniunii Europene. Cu tot respectul, uciderea câinilor presupune să ne comportăm ca niște oameni needucați, din Evul Mediu, care nu își pot asuma responsabilitatea pentru propriile acțiuni. Nu câinii maidanezi sunt vinovați pentru faptul că sunt condamnați să trăiască o viață plină de suferință pe străzile României. Vina le aparține oamenilor care îi abandonează și îi aruncă în stradă, a celor care nu își sterilizează câinii și cărora nu le pasă de ei. În loc să vă asumați reponsabilitatea pentru aceste animale și să reduceți și să controlați populația canină într-un mod uman și eficient, printr-un program de sterilizare și campanii de adopții, nu faceți decât să îi pedepsiți de două ori, prin uciderea cu sânge rece. Între 2004 și 2009 au fost uciși peste 1 milion de câini  în România! Acesta este un genocid asupra câinilor  fără precedent în întreaga lume.

Prin urmare, ați comis cea mai mare crimă din istoria animalelor.

Și acum o luați de la capăt cu această dorință de sânge. Soluția nu este uciderea brutală a câinilor  fără stăpân. Ați omorât deja atâția și totuși aceștia sunt în continuare pe străzi. Ar trebui să învățați și să înțelegeți că această problemă a câinilor  fără stăpân se poate rezolva prin măsuri rezonabile, umane și civilizate. Există atâtea ONG-uri și activiști pentru apărarea drepturilor animalelor în România care au făcut o muncă extraordinară în ultimii ani și care au arătat cum se pot folosi măsurile de sterilizare și returnare și cum să fii responsabil față de animale. Faptul că în 2013 există încă o “lege a eutanasiei” în Europa mă lasa fără cuvinte, pe mine și pe mulți alții.

Toate acestea se întâmplă sub ochii copiilor și adolescenților. Ce fel de oameni vor deveni, dacă de mici văd și învață cum câinii sunt omorâti și arși de vii, fără a avea o urmă de sentimente sau moralitate? Acești copii vor crește fără să mai aibă empatie și vor deveni adulți fără sentimente, care nu țin nici la animale, nici la oameni, și se vor comporta corespunzător. Modul agresiv și brutal în care oamenii se comportă unii față de alții este deja evident în multe locuri în România. Dumneavoastră decideți cum  va arată societatea dumneavoastră mâine și ce imagine va avea România. Astazi România este denumită „țara morții și a ucigașilor de câini ” și „Auschwitz-ul câinilor ”. În final, trebuie să opriți abuzul asupra folosirii banilor contribuabililor din România, dar și a banilor europeni, folosiți pentru a ucide cu lașitate animalele fără stăpân. Există oameni în România care au dezvoltat un model de afacere perfidă, în care hingherii, municipalitățile și primarii câștigă milioane de euro din uciderea animalelor fără stăpân. Opriți acest abuz asupra banilor publici și folosiți banii cetățenilor români și fondurile europene pentru a construi politici sociale, un sistem de sănătate și educațional mai bune. Pentru a crea o societate civilizată și o țară care va fi respectată în lume, o societate în care oamenii pot fi civilizați unii cu alții.

Uniunea Europeană nu a primit Premiul Nobel pentru Pace pentru ca dumneavoastră sa porniți un război împotriva nevinovatelor animale fără stăpân.
