There should be no second class event in the athletics program.It is IAAF duty to respect equality between the events. It is (one more) discrimination toward the throwers !
Il n'y a pas d'épreuve de 2e plan dans le programme de l'athlétisme.C'est le devoir de l'IAAF de respecter l'équité entre ;es épreuves . Une discrimination (de plus) envers les lanceurs !

Athletics is known as the Queen of Sports, without Hammer the Queens position is weekend again. Athletics generally is weakly, bad represented, starting from a Physical Education in the early years through the primary-secondary education. I have to mention also the wrong advertisement of IAAF even Diamond Leage has "Old School Blood Flow". The spectators need more entertainment... Archery is an art...not sport.

Il lancio del martello per la sua spettacolarità d'azione e la complessa sequenza motoria che sviluppa in 2/3 secondi, rappresenta una delle discipline più moderne, insieme al salto con l'asta, che ben rappresentano l'atletica leggera.Inoltre ho "creato" io il Vizzoni Nicola, silver medal in Sidney 2000 allenandolo dall'inizio 1989 al 2003. The Hammer. An event that has developed to what it has become today, over a Millennium of time some will say. And to not include it in the Diamond League?

The excitement of the throwing of the hammer, is unequaled as the heaviest weighted event going well over 77m for both men and women competitors. The Athleticism required to execute the turns and the balance to, through the finish and release of the throw is both one of grace, power, and explosiveness. To so many, a beautiful sight.

Not in the Diamond League? WHY? Legitimate Reason. There is none. WHY?

It is very important that IAAF treat hammer-throw in a serious way. Until now IAAF has mainly shown disrespect and very unfair treatment towards the athlets performing hammer-throw.

As a coach and mother to a young hammer thrower i feel it is very important that hammer recieves the recognision and attention it deserves.

As a hammer thrower myself I know how little attention hammer throw gets, I feel it is extreamly important that we get the recogonision we deserve because we work just as hard as everyone else but get none of the attention.
